Hi ive got a 2003 compact automatic e46 that wont crank over, scanned ecus and ews modules no codes found but if i look at live data it says starter motor blocked by P / N switch,
checked shifter with spare replacement and also the p/n switch replaced inside of gearbox ( which was actually faulty) but still says car is in driven gear and "starter motor blocked by P / N switch"
could this be a fault with the ews software and if so how could i go about fixing this? thanks in advance
