Audi skoda dash pin code reader

Hi guys ,few customers needin speedo units changed in skoda and audis for secondhand units ,what's the best tool to read the pin codes from these dashes ,??

Original AVDI works fine for me. I know that other Chinese programmers corrupt data in the dash after just reading the PIN. Then you get SAFE, ERROR or other message you don't want to see.

It all depend what year we are talking about. Pin will help you only till 2006. After this year Pin will not do anything.
What year you are planing to work on?

It's up to 2008 I plan working on ,just hav a lot of customers lately that need new dash clocks coded

The best and option is to get SMOK X-Dash , SMOK Key maker and VCDS.
You are looking about 2000 euros for this.

VCDS + VAG Dash CAN is other option but not good as SMOK. You are limited to 2006 on VW and Audi A3 2005 , Audi A4 2008 , this will be around 1000 euros.

Is carprog clone of any use for pin code reading ?

For Pin code reading in most VAg cars till 2004 you can use KKL serial port cable and Vag eepromer software. Software is available here on DK.
