Hi guys - any1 with experience of these ??
p/n = P05026529AB
Replaced its coil reader but still problems - Dash lights up only after Erase keys on AD ??
Otherwise with original key the dash is dead. Remote works and dump ok (i think!).
Comes up with time-out on add key
I think i'll do a better job with coil 2moro and retry :)

What chip is in the original key,
Is it a PCF7941 like the newer Grand Voyager key?

Had a couple of faulty keys, they could not be read on transponder tester.
Re-soldered the PCF chips and they were all good to go.
Dash was totally dead but could see no key in live data, have you tried to read the key on a tester yet?

If remote works,but car don't start,check PCF7941 first.
They are coded to same module,so if EIS failed, car wouldn't unlock also.

The coil on the key? Or around the ignition?
On these keys there is a transponder antenna that if you even scratch it with your finger accidentally can damage the key. Here in the USA some guys cover them with nail polish remover before they sell to customers. Having exposed coils on the same space as the customer replacing the battery is a bad idea.....
