Audi a6 sline 2011

Hi guys, got to ask cus it's bugging me now.

been called out to an Audi a6 2011, to program a new genuine key to the car.

chap lost his keys. Cars been locked and untouched for 3 weeks.
new key from Audi.
Open car by key as remote is not yet programmed.
alarm goes off cus ignition is not turned off within 15 seconds.
key in ignition and turn to get ignition lights so I can program the key to start.
but.......
no ignition lights???
clocks work
radio etc

checked all fuses and purple plug but still nothing??..
im stuck.

any ideas thanks

What tools are you using?

you need to power up IGNITION MAIN CIRCUIT RELAY for key programming ,dealer can power up that relay via gateway,but you need to do it manual

Don't you need to unplug the BCM and connect it back after 10 seconds?
