Is the millage an issue.

I need other people opinion about this car.

My brother has the same car. We bought it at 70000km from a friend.
Done timing belt, service belt, all filters, steering rack was leaking -> new steering rack.
Break pads at 100000km.
Faulty temperature sensor so we swap it with our previuos 6N2 Polo 1.4 petrol (ahr ahr)
Now the car has 130000km.

Using 5w30 507.00 specs every 2 years.
OEM brake fluid every 2 years.

EGR leaking a bit, we'll keep it as it is.
Need a new thermostat cause water temp is low. Same thermostat as Golf 1 (ahr ahr).
Running since 2 years with low water temp (<80)
Sometimes 2nd gear hesitate to engage.

Rear wheel not easy to change in street cause you have to align hub, disc and wheel holes.

In the whole web there are 1.9 tdi with 500000 or 750000km but we cannot verify.
And how many turbo replaced.

Some noise in the interior everytime you turn on/off the key because clima flap in dash open and close air duct.
Glove box door hard to open cause hydraulic piston was dry.
One leg of glove box breaks so new glove box door and some grease/oil inside the piston
-> glove box ok for the entire vehicle life.

Check for traffic restriction policies (pollution) in your area.
