Hi guys, I am located in Thailand and use a Skybox F3 connected to a KU disk with universal lnb pointed at the Measat 3/3a at 91.5E.

Now when I do a satellite scan, I enter all the transpnders manually and do a preset scan, I can find signal on all the frequency's in the 11000 mnhz band. That is where the Astro sd channels are located.

However when I do a scan for the 12000 Mhz channels, where the HD channels are located, it finds no signals.

My lnb setting is Universal 9750-10600 on automatic.

I have already tried other lnb settings and entering only the 12000 Mhz tp's. but to no avail.

This are the transponder settings I use.

Astro on Measat 3/3a at 91.5?E - LyngSat (http://www.lyngsat.com/packages/Astro.html)

So what am I doing wrong that it doesn't find a signal on those transponders ?

In my storage I found another paper weight satellite receiver, Hitech HT-89HD, and connected that one instead of the skybox.

Apart from the usual universal LNB settings, 9750-10600 9750-10700 etc., it has also a setting that simply says Universal.

With the latter setting a scan will read all the HD channels on the +12000 Mhz frequencies.

So the only problem is that the Skybox F3 doesn't has the "Universal" setting.

Any way around it with maybe custom firmware ?
