2003 Audi A4 RB4 dash with DEF error

I have this dash from a 2003 Audi A4 dash part no: 8E0 920 981 x. the dash has DEF on the display. the car starts and drives but the rev & speedo needles do not work. Could anyone repair the def error?

car is manual 1.9 tdi

Don't fool yourself. Via OBD2 only.

I use Dajavue software OBD or some dash you can clone by using a file same part number and same version D35 then code a new TP24 to cluster align to ecu or immo off the ecu ....that's because you used tools like SUPER VAG !!!! for mileage correction

No I didn't so don't assume. Cust bought car to me like this. Thanks for your help, if customer cannot get a second hand dash then I will try your method
