Hi,
I've got a list of equipment to buy that I hope people can advise me on. All clone equipment for the time being.

I've been chipping ECUs & mapping cars on the road & dyno for about a decade now (mainly Nissans and old-school Motronics), and I'm now looking at tuning newer models as well as being able to perform full diagnostics on all cars & trucks, immo, dpf, ad-blue, air bag, keys etc etc.

I already have a very powerful programmer Xeltek SuperPro 3000U (49,000 devices supported) that I use for programming EPROMs, but some of the adaptors are ?150 or more, so I'm looking at dedicated programmers, too.

The tools & equipment I already have are listed in my signature. I've already ordered a Piasini V4.1.

Tools I'm looking to buy immediately (from uobd2):
ECU tuning:
KESS V2 No Token Limitation OBD2 Tuning Kit V2.06
FGTech Galletto 4 V54 BDM-OBD Function
KTAG K-TAG ECU Programming Tool Master Version V2.06
Diag:
YANHUA Digiprog 3 4.88V
Carprog V6.8 Carprog Full
Programmers:
2014 UPA USB V1.3.0.14 With Full Adaptors
2014 CK-100 Auto Key Programmer V99.99 Newest Generation SBB
HiTag2 V3.1 Programmer (Red)
2014 Latest Version XPROG-M V5.50 Box ECU Programmer X-PROG M

Tools I'm buying immediately once I've found a reliable source:
Delphi DS150e bluetooth with all cables
MPPS V5.0 & latest version
R270 CAS4 programmer

I've been researching non-stop for the last 3 weeks, and hopefully the above list will be a good start. I will then be buying specific tools for different makes.

All advice & criticisms are very welcome. Advice on good sellers appreciated too.

Thanks in advance :)

I assume you are talking about clones ??

I would reccomend to take at least an original tool.....or else the newer Motronics for example will not forgive you easily :)

Yes, all clones for the time being (it does say that at the start of the first post). I have the use of a genuine Kess as well.

I've used a simple ELM327 with various OBD2 programs (mainly MoDiag & ScanXL) and that has worked fine for basic diagnostics.

I have bought the following:
Kess V2, KTag, FGTech V54
Digiprog, Carprog
UPA USB, XProg-M
T300, SBB V33

So far I've used 3 different companies (2 sister companies and a separate one I believe) and shipping via DHL was lightning quick, 4 days to the UK in one case. China Post is acceptable (10+ days). Communication has been top notch, both before & after. I can assume it will not be so good if there are any issues, but I will wait & see. I'm currently going over all the PCBs for dry solder joints, cleaning them, reflowing where needed and then covering them in conformal coating.

I'm waiting on a CMD CAN flasher, R270 & a cheap MPPS V13 (I'm looking for the V5.0 but everywhere seems to be out of stock). I won't be using the R270 anytime soon, but I'll have it at least.

Next purchases will be the Delphi DS150e with all cables, and the CN900+4D+ID46 set up.

I'm trying to achieve a relatively cheap toolkit that covers a great deal. I'm not interested in key cutting as of now, plus I have a contact for that. It's more of an expansion into what I can work with, rather than having to desperately recoup costs or anything else. I spent about a month researching tools & companies on here, other forums and of course speaking to people that use both genuine & clone tools. Having heard some horror stories regarding genuine tools and support, I decided not to go down the route of buying a single genuine tool to begin with. Due to combined postage and the discounts I was given, it made sense to buy as many as possible in as few orders as possible.

Thanks for the replies :)
