00 windstar need help programming odometer

I mostly know what Im doing with the UsaProg
probably 4000 jobs under my belt
Im real good at gauge repair with probably 500000 jobs over 8 years
I cant get the thing to read hooking wires via cmm
usually that works but this is the 5th Windstar Ive tried with no success
and no I don't know about the UPA except what I read on the net
question is has anyone done windstar using upa?
would be worth purchasing one to use
