hi

could some 1 delete dpf and egr (no ecusafe / volta ) only 100% working solution please

already had a map done but car smoking on idle with really bad smell

dpf sensors unpluged and egr blanked off

no lights on dash, dpf ash counter was reset before reading

smell only came after dpf was gutted, only outside of car u can smell it

also if some one has a bdm orignal flash that would b handy


i have a file from another golf that i mapped egr off dpf off which had no problems
but sw no is slightly different

the sw no of problem car is: sw6576286160 03G906018FC
the other good file sw is : SW6576286556 03G906018FC

only 3 numbers different
can i flash the other file or will it brick ecu??

both files read with galleto v54

if your actually mod file work fine on your car,post and the original map,for working only the smoke...

That file which working is from another car done few months ago with different sw number

What I was asking is if I can flash a different sw no on this ppd 1.2 ECU and will it work or will it brick ECU ???

you must compare the file (the maps) from your orig flash with other file...for that i said to post all 2 files ...theoretically you can try flashing...probblem is maybe immo

Compared to original file from good car the dumps 86% different in winols !

insert first the good file that work good on winols and say 100% original...then insert second file(your original file)...on this seccond file press w,then u and see the modiffication...then go on upside left corner of winols and press edit and select original values...like this,your original file take the modiffication from the file that work good....close the first file inserted and export your original file modiffied like bin file...and all ok

MINE GOD....read carrefully what i said...the software rest yours...you take only the "style" of modiffications...you use the file that is not original " like " a damos or a mappack...you modiffy your original software with the parrameters of the otherone...regards
