Hi

Im trying to read the dump of a 93C46 Eeprom in a PU-2325A Peugeot Radio (In circuit)
I know that these are rotated pins.
The problem im getting is error in communication on pin 8.
Why is this? Do i need to bridge the crystal oscillator ?
Im new to this, first time ive tried in circuit.

Any help much appreciated

Cheers

Adam

for reading in circuit you must lower the voltage to 5 volt

in order to get "clean reading" of the eeprom you must desolder it then

i use from arlab a special "In circuit" reader to do this job

Thanks friend will do:rock:

I know abit about them as they are married to the car and the vins have to match to stop the BEEP. So change VIN in radio to match VIN of car, I think.:hmmmm2: So probably need to buy some software that specializes in this.

Anyway will sort this out another time;)
