Hello guys. I just got my TL866A MiniPRO Programmer. I got it specifically to do VW MP9.0 ECUs. I got a 2.0L Flash Dump (27C512). I programmed the dump to 28DIP Blank IC, but when I place it on the ECU I get no communication what so ever. Could there be a procedure to programming these 27C512 with the window? I am able to read the eeproms after programming them, and WinOLS confirms the ECU is for VAG MP9.0 2.0L. But there is no response from the ECU on the car. What could I be doing wrong?

Hi betrescudan (http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/members/342950-betrescudan/)...I am trying to upgrade a few MP9.0 ECUs from 1.4i/1.6i to 2.0L. I have a dump for the 2.0L, but when I write the dump onto the 27C512 EEPROM it says successful, when I verify everything is in check, but when I put it on the board it does not respond. When I run the dump on WinOLS it gives me the part number for a 2.0L MP9.0. What am I doing wrong? Please help. Im running out of blank ICs.

No...I am sure its 27C512...the original 1 I removed is ST m27C512 and it works perfectly. But its 1.4 mapping.

The only 27c512 used on the MP9 ecu is the plcc package , the dil is 87c510 bosch mask B58546 or B58400,put the original dil into your programmer and do auto id ,regards

You will have to clean the original with a uv eraser,or if you pay the postage I will send you one , can your programmer do the 87c510?

I have a UV Eraser...But my problem is that I can not find 87C510 when I search my device. I can successfully do the 27C512 PLCC32, but i also want to work on the DIL28. 280899 280901 280902 280903
