SKC Calc Problem

Cannot read serial number. Tried on all com1 to com16 ports, on four different usb cables, on usb3.0 and usb2.0 slot, on two laptops, one with xp sp3 and other with win 7 ultimate, tried on version 1.0.0.5 , 1.0.0.6, and 1.0.1.2
Green led in software flashes. Anyone experienced same problems?

Check port:
My computer ---> Propertis ---> Device Manager ---> Ports (COM & LPT)

see SKC port then select correct port on SKC software.

Of course I have done it many times, checked on every port from 1 to 16. When I choose port where skc is installed, green "led" in software show up, but no serial number. Software with skc in usb behaves exactly the same like you open it without skc plugged in.

Is com port in device manager selected as com3 ? (check by connecting and disconnecting usb cable )

now with SKC soft open try select com port few times as com 2 and then as com 3 with usb cable plugged . If not get serial 199 after few tries it is time for a new SKC dongle m8 ....:beheaded::beheaded:

this dongle is brand new. will send it back for full refund.

Check your driver. Manually install your driver should fix this.

I install driver manual, I try all ports, 2 computers with winxp, no result, all same like in first post, I think calc is broken.

dont buy skc now a days. its a lottery.

just need correct driver and fresh WinXP.

Today I generated new keys with SKC, but the software generate only key number 3, another was in red and not generated. I tried second time and the result was the same. What is the problem? The dump is not good or something else?

Post your dump to check..

You can also try slow mode, it has worked for me before in some keys that were not calced (red) on fast mode.

Keys 2/3/4 are not calced here either, just use key 5/6/7

You generate complete keys 5,6 and 7? My SKC generate only key 3. And you mean that the dump is ok?

I was able to calc all keys but 2 and 3. I'm using skc clone bought last month with s/n 00000199 but don't think it matters.

seems to matter, all calculated with SKC
if you need other then 051 ,just ask :)
