hi guys I went to a merc vito today 2006 109 cdi problem was the customer spilt coffee all over the dash after this the clever clogs decided too shampoo it all down then wash it :clapping:

Anyhow once he gave it the full treatment the key would not turn in the ignition he bought a used ezs unit I transferred his mcu's overs from the old one to the other one. I got the steering lock off and ignition on but there was no crank! Anyhow I got the van to start by probing the starter wire.

But with the key I am still not getting crank also the horn indicators and electric windows are not working I have checked all the fuses and relays under the bonnet and the few fuses under the passenger seat are there anymore fuses on this ? and can it be the sam unit that's faulty too ?

thanks guys
