Hallo Friends

Just a quick info.
I've open a thread about bmw Key coding, but now i need more specific information.
What is the difference about this two remotes:

1) Siemens VDO 5WK4 9125 BMW 6986585-03 868Mhz

2) Siemens VDo 5WK4 9123 BMW 6954808-01 868 Mhz ( Hi-Tag2 PCF7945 scanned with Tagkey tool)

I explain in more detail, the first key come from a customer car (Bmw E91 touring year 2011)
My customer lost one of his key and told me to buy a new key.
Now i've bought Bmw multitool to code a new key.
In house i have a 6954808-01 key, but the customer send a picture of his key (no key in my hand) and the Bmw part number is: 6986585-03.
Which is the difference between this key-remotes?
Can i use my remote for this car or i have to buy a new remote matching Bmw original number?
I've done a research on etk online but found anything about 6954808 remote (Long Bmw part number is 6612 6954808).
Best supplier for this remote?

Many thanks

Cheers

with eeprom equipment u can apparently code these used keys to other cars.

otherwise with multi-tool via obd just buy your fobs from china.
+ throw those original keys in bin!

Hallo

Obdsystem thanks for your reply.
The original car key is VDO 5WK49125 BMW 6986585-03.
I have a new key-remote come from china.I think is an original' clone key.
This china key have printed at the back VDo 5WK4 9123 BMW 6954808-01 868 Mhz.
My question is:
Is this china key suitable or compatible with original key?
Can i code this china key to this car or there are some difference beetween key?
Now i'm unable to try anything because my new Multi tool will arrive at the end of the week.
Thank you

With TM100,you can write locked remote directly to dump and it works.
You can't reuse PCF7945 without changing the PCF.

Guys, can u write dump to CAS3+ and it'll work ?
Or is this when AVDI comes into its own with OBD and dump ?

I can't see car not accepting direct dump???

PS. check this BMW CAS Test Platform no need connecting car (http://www.obd2express.co.uk/wholesale/cas-test-platform-2914.html)

I got it, very good when you have cas on a table, you can test key and cas after adding key.
