2002 FORD TRANSIT 2.0 DIESEL CUT OUT WONT START CODE PUMP TIMING

My mates transit 02 model diesel been underpowered for a while then cut out wouldn't start, diagnostics coming up with pump timing out

any easy fix for this, cheers

Try timing solenoid on VP pump also wiring and circuit to pump also have a look at fuses first if no joy post codes from the van .

Agree with above, if the diagnostic says watchdog. Then chances are above starter motor the wiring is MINGING in oil and has chaffed together, normally caused by lack of services due to clocks been wound back
