Vw amarok edc17cp20 ecu problem

Hell all

I have Vw amarok 2011 with edc17cp20 ecu

Well I checked all cars wiring working fine

Problem is :

Car not working , I measure voltage output through injectors terminal there is no voltage while cranking !!

I made immo off , still same problem , when I put some gas inside engine it works fine

Pump gas good
Pressure regulator good
Rail pressure good
Crank sensor good
Cam sensor good

The only problem I notice no volt pulses from injectors terminal !!!

Injector socket has two terminal , I use multimeter to test volt pulses while cranking no volt

So I decide that the problem in ECU it self
I want to test injectors driver but don't know which one and what values should be

do a full autoscan via VCDS and post it.

I do with original avdi , the problem that car is far from me (80+80)km

I only have ecu now , any ideas ?

Did you Open Ecu before ?

I opened it first time to check , my problem how to check that IC is good ??

ona normal digital multimeter u wont be able to see injector volts pulsing...its too fast for it to register. check all mosfets inside the ecu

I have checked all mosfet , I have onther edc17cp14 , I exchanged the 3 ICs that next to processor , now ecu not working at all !!!


From where I can get onther ecu ???

Dear maybe you have a communication problemm between the ecm and other module. Check if the vin information is correct in all modules. Clear dtc codes in all modules.

What is the fault that appears im having an issue also gives a fault code p214900 injector b open circuit.
