2006 jeep grand cherokee all keys lost

hi all
I was rewiring a mazda rx7 with a gm ls1 at a workshop last night and got asked about another vehicle they had there


it s 2006 jeep grand Cherokee SRT8
vin is 1J8HD78376Y159339

shop has no keys

I am going there on Monday and im trying to get some info before I go there

I know I need to get a pin
should I buy a key from Chrysler or from locksmith or ebay

and on Monday should I remove the immob unit next to barrel and read the chip

or can I use my x100 to do it

just want to be ready on Monday so im not going back a lot of times
