Hello, i need your opinion about this car, I have a Fiat Punto 1.9D from year 2000, i start the car and press the throttle but the engine not up revolutions, well, then stop the car, start again and work perfectly.

Any of you had a similar situation? For me very strange, i don't found and i can't imagine from where came the fail.

THINK that is a clock work diesel pump.

new fuel filter then fill new filter with injector cleaner.

modern disel is corrosive . The other question diesel leak off pipes. Replace these with 3.2 mm rubber fuel hose

Dumb question.

if you start and no throttle. If you leave running does it pick up?

does it smoke? Turbo seized?

Anti drain back valve on funny filter?
Scan for code(s).
Search for any Casio 10? kitchen alarm clock wired to ecu as MH statement.
Idle is ok or saw saw?
Exhaust color?

Start the car, warm up @ idle. Stop and start.
Might be a silly idea to roll it downhill if you have one near or tow the car to downhill,
start check if break works then downhill and hit accelerator pedal.
