Anybody tell me how to reset the service light on a 2013/2014 Vw golf , I have VCDS Vagcom and followed , Select,instruments,adaptation and SRI reset but it says channell has accepted new value the service spanner is still displayed on the dash , any help guys ??

turn ignition on then off hold trip button turn ign on and hold will come up service reset release and press again when asked go into service in radio screen an days and mileage will be reset

use odis or vas , only way i have come accross to do it unless you use vcds and adapt new schedule in ie distance from service for oil etc

I'm sure I did it with Autocom or VCDS... dont remember which.

Do service reset esi then change the values from service/ inspection, make sure time values are not overdue,check distances to service/ inspection.
If that fails, put miles back up to original, do service changes then do miles again

Set miles from service to 0 then distance from mileage based service to 0 then go to resetting esi and click on reset that will reset both then go back in and put miles on clock in km in both service channels done loads that way

Change instrument cluster adaption channel 53 and 55 to 0.

Thats what i said but after that you need to reset esi especially if service light is on

Madness what job do they do they can't be bright enough to do mileage

I do not remember how this function is global in Autocom, but can be reset the service interval.
