Newsgroup Server ?

Hi Guys just wondering dosent your isp have a newsserver that you can use, or do you have to subscribe to 1, i havent used newsgroups before at all, can anybody do a tutorial on the subject (Cunny or somebody)....

Thanks for your replies, however i think you misunderstand opsmonkey, i mereley asked for a tutorial on using newsgroups ie newsservers and the asscociated software i didn't mention anything about nzb files or the like, i hope this clears things up as i am sure that using newsgroups is not ilegal and i am aware of the rules that this board has, and would not breach them....

Yeah sound mate.. i wasnt trying to hand out a rolliking or anything.. I know what you mean.. i was asking how to use Newsgroups and what software was needed and that, and I got directed to the rules.. so i'm not sure etc..

But i can tell you i use Alt.Binz as my download client (like a Newsgroup version of Utorrent).. I use Bin.Search (http://www.binsearch.info/) to look for my NZB files and i did use the Virgin freeserver but if the NZB file is over 5 days old you cant download it.. i use Astraweb as my server now..

I dont think this post breaks any rules as its not a link to an actual NZB file or server

Also as your isp is virgin they carry 5 days retention but not sure on the server address.
