Viewing bitmap images

Whenever someone posts a picture in .bmp (bitmap) format all I see is a little box with a red "X" in the top left corner and some text, others seem able to view them ok, anyone know why?

what browser do you use to view DK? have you updated the java recently?

IE8, I think java auto updates
Edit clicked your link and manually updated java, still the same

However it sounds like an incorrect mime type.
Right click on a bitmap already downloaded and select properties then click "opens with" choose IE, tick always opens with this program and click apply.

This should sort you.
