Hi, who know how to mod CVT transmission module to achieve different speed? They sell 3 version: 35, 40 and 50 KPH but i think that is basically the same module with one component or resistance different to limit tractor speed.

I open a 40 kph transmission module and i see on pcb the label "KPH LINK"... i think is this that set max speed... but how?

Hi, Fede

There is no hardware settings for this. The speed limit for this kind of transmissions can be done from one adress in control unit. For sure is a hidden one or controller must be put in a factory mode or engeenering mode.
Is the same on JD tractors. I know for sure from a JD guy that works for them.

George

Some years ago i heard about hardware mod but now i didn't find any info.
In JD for what i know for speed you have to edit a file or configuration.
