what do you say that Abrites wants 200Eur per year for support, updates and online functions?
I thought that in the begging he promised updates will be free.

The free updates you will have on existing licences, for new licences we will have to pay like always.

i think once you not buy AMS you have no update at all.

Maybe abritus will pay customer for support too? New functions have new licenses. For what customer should pay? For explaining that this function dont work at this moment? Or for fixing bugs from licenses what is already activated?

What if we do not accept change ?

Abritus sold thousands of interfaces now come to the conclusion that you could earn even more .

And what will happen if they put some time tokens to use programs ?

according european commercially legislation privacy policy it is up to company, BUT ENY diversion first step is to inform eny prospect customer for all future company plans,so the customer have full image.in our situation we pay one hi prise device not compact as eny other diagnostic but build up peace by peace.(BNXXX)MNXX ETC.and some time include all bug where is the only time we email abrite for correct this bug.is this email what they call year suport or what?????????what upadates???fuction we pay one time and they are not updateble exept the bug.i dont like all this story....this device is not like tunning softwares where every week updates include some new ecus or solusions.

i remember in the emails it was something to do with getting updates for ?144 per year

and what if you only do KM with abritus like me and you pay for the year AMS and no km updates come out ?!?!?

You pay for commander with full functions actives, and one month later new soft is realized, then you lost some beta functions and if you like enjoy it again then must pay new version. I think is the best and complete tool, but some times they like earn money from nothing.

right this is the point.never being update in spesial fuction vag-bmw or eny factory.for ex peugeot read pin bsi fuction customer pay for only this fuction and contineu to be same fuction...or vag or mercedes 722.9 7gear fuction have same fuction sinse today as eny one he pay a year before.true is they try to earn money for build a server where 90% from fuction will work only online:)cause the china copys.this means upkeep and realy need money.but this is not our problem...solusion for china copy is every development make one market value and sell more......

2. Buy special function - don't work, sorry no refund - lie#2/dishonest practice
3. Introduce new internet activation feature with out telling your customer - lie#3/dishonest practice
4. When asked about "internet activation" i was told " only one time when new software is installed" - lie#4 every 30 days now.
5. To buy one new special function i need to pay extra 200 euro WTF ?

Sorry I'm all checkmated out, how many times will i have to put up with this bullsh1t.... i bought a tool to work with out the internet, now I'm a hostage of AVDI company.... if they figure out my id and shut down my interface i will have a $9000 paper weight... i know people spent 20-30k on their tools... just saying it was not fair.
I can image how mechanics would react when the manufacture of tire changers,wheel balancers, air compressors, impact gun, wrenches came to them after 3 years and said you need to pay every year or the tool will no longer work :)

At the end of the day I thought I was buying a product, which I initially did, but then it was converted to a service... nice scam.

P.S. Yes i know 200 is not a lot, ppl make $$$ with it, but its just the principle of it, and lately its some new surprise coming from AVDI team...

I have been following Abritus72 way before avdi, when they just have the vag commander product with simple k-line interface, i thought that company would eventually become more customer friendly and more like a "serious" business, local distributors, like autologic, snapon, matco etc... oh boy was i mistaken.

Dave its the same thing, only just on renewal the price will go up, so if you bought there basic plan 1 week before the changes you dont pay the new prices till the year is up, personally I think most kap users won't be bothered about this as like me they would be taking out the priority or secure plans because of what it offers (at least the ones I have spoken to said that)
