I think I read here that the old shape flip remote fit the 2011+ focus, this is true?

cant see that happening the new remote goes in by obd with the trandponder

I did a 2012 fiesta, and used old type 3 botton square/banana shape remote. but i think 2011 is cross over year on focus, the old goes up to 07/2011.
ps.you have to ask the customer if the remote looked like audi A3, or the older type.

how can it programm with transponder if its only 4d63 80bit transponder????

The old remote, manually, the new type diagnostically, 80 bit is done with AD100 OR AVDI.

no, you probably have to go in a remote menu of your key programmer, always ask the customer what the remote looked like mate.

Never had to do anything in a remote menu. The remote functions immediately.

ive done a few late fords now, and the remote programming is same as older cars, manual procedure, but you must have a matched transponder first :)

i try yesterday on focus 2012 old type remote and it dont fit with that so u need new romote

The ones from honrow look ok but transponder inside, so not tried to use one yet.
