Hi,

Got a GENDAN KKL cable used previously on a Audi A4 V6 1996 with VCDS.

With the latest VCDS download, would this GENDAN cable read any fault codes on a A3 2008 2.0 Tdi.

No. Audi from 2008 use newer CAN-BUS protocol that KKL cable doesn't support. You will need newer HEX CAN VCDS cable.
