golf 3 immo box?

hi,went to look at a golf 3 1996 1.6 with no keys, looked for the immo box under dash but couldnt find it? does this mean immo is in the ecu?

Or you have old golf ww immo or you have black box under dasch with motorola hc05 inside. Have you coil around ignition switch? If yes look where the cable go and you will find immo.

golf 3 1996 1.6 it's not enough. What ECU you have? Simos Bosch or Marelli ?
