Yesterday I did mileage on a 2010 Merc C220. I taught in a new DPF with star but had 4 other faults under the Motor Unit fault section. They were: Cylinder 1 has lost configuration (or something like that) and the same for the other 3 cylinders. I deleted them but they came back as soon as I started the engine. The EML was not on and the car was running ok so I left it. Today the customer has rang me and says the EML is now on. Can anyone tell me what causes these faults and how to permanently delete them please? Thanks. Dave.

I think you have to code injectors...

First 6 vin is: 204002 but can't get error codes until I go back tomorrow. All I remember is it said all 4 cylinders had lost their configuration or something like that.

Did you scan car before correction? I always scan car before correction on pricey stuff and take it for a good thrash round the block just to check there is no problem already there and they have just cleared light 2 mins before bringing to me knowing full well it will come back on toorrow but TRY to blame me. (and if its a nice pricey lump then the thrash round block checking the rev limiter works is of course a nice fun bonus too)

http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=285992&stc=1Went back to the car today and another error had appeared regarding the DPF. I suspect this is the one causing the EML to come on but I would still like to clear the other codes. I did another "teach in new DPF" and cleared faults and the light went out but customer rang me half an hour later and it was back on.

Here is a photo of errors with Xentry.

Someone please help?

Sounds like eeprom for ecu has corrupted??? Try sending it to a friend at mercedes dealer or friend with Autologic and perform ECU update. I reckon it will solve it...
