2004 vw touran 01179 immo fault

Hi there
Called someone out to make me a spare key for this car. The person said he will be back in five minutes and ran away.

Okay the car starts but has the immobiliser light flashing. Vagcom shows code 01179 key learning fault. I have one key. Fvdi abrites and vagcom. How can I get rid of this code and light flashing on the dash?

seems like you was try learn key via SCK / Adaptation
Do you have eeprom backup before this ?

If you have FVDI why you call someone to program keys for you.
If is Dash Micronas read immo data block with FVDI and post here.

Car is now sorted. Just added a new key and programmed it with fvdi
