Audi Coupe 1995 - lost keys

Hi DK folks,

Does anyone know if:

a) this will have an immo on 1995 year (i know this is changeover year for vag 1st immo)

b) where is immo box located if it does and which chip do I read dump?

c) which transponder tool has a module that will do this? I can't find any?

d) is there a way to get pin from dump and add key by obd?

Audi A4 up to 1997 have white immo box with 93c46 SMD8 inside
Transponder ID13 megamos

Thanks, I can read and produce keys for this immobox.
I did know that A4 uses this box but is the Audi Coupe the same type?

try to read pin via obd - vag tacho.
i had one and done it successfully obd
there will be old 2x2 plugs "obd" under the bonnet i think

Hi chaps... end up going down there after my last post and getting this done via reading dump...

The box pictured in my EffI v101 module looked completely different, hence me not being sure and asking for help with this post. (EffI one's beige in colour, eeprom in different place etc) and only listed Audi A4 and A6 pre-1997, but i read the 93c46 on the underside of the pcb in-circuit and when opened it autodetected it as same dump as A4/A6. So I now know the old Audi's (80, 90, Coupe etc) and early ID13 A4/A6 are basically the same...

Key wrote to a T5 no probs and started no bother - great success! :chuncky:
