Ford Focus 2000 dash

Hi my DK friends, i have a one question about ford focus 2000 dash, one friend bring me the car and after successfully change km the car was great dash was great all work great i drive 3km and all good the fiend take the car. Then after 3 days the friend call me and say the dash not working and bring me the car i take off the dash and reprogram again and again all work good hi take the car, and after 3 days he call me again and again the dash was death not work and i reprogram again and all work great. I ask the friend and hi say the car is for selling and he not start the engine for 3 days and when he start the dash not working. So please someone tell me what is the problem i work on more then 30 ford focus cars till now and no problems, Maybe he need to drive 100km or something and the live car to stay for couple of days?

Maybee mcu is damaged for some reason.Try with reprogram eeprom with some programmer,upa or xprog and with new dump.Is it hc11 in this instrument?

Yes HC11 the same like on the picture. Thank you but I'm looking for other solution :)

If you want tested eeprom dump i will post it.Is it petrol or diesel?

The car is diesel but I'm looking for other solution like he need to drive couple km or something else , that is the last solution because now the car all work great. Thank you!

Common fault on these is dash connector and maybe MCU need reflowing on board and cleaning so maybe when you took in and out you disturbed dash. Try reflowing if problem persists.
