hello!


Need advice!

Battery was changed in this car sincw that dashboard milage is just: ----

I found one eeprom on panel but that is empty full of FF
eeprom is 2903 c050 if i right this is 93C86.


How to repair this?

Sorry if I mistake.

Not all Smd with 8 legs should be an eeprom.

I bet you didnt find eeprom at the moment, you read FFFFF same if you dont connect any eeprom in programmer.

According to my info:

B57545 LM2903 same as 27c010 ( nothing similar to an 8 leg eeprom).

Or you havent located eeprom (perhaps on the other side), or is only Mcu dashboard.

Have you tried to run with car, perhaps dashboard should take some values from Bcm/Engine Ecu.

I meanperhaps problem could be solved even without opening dashboard.

This dash is NEC micro not 86 eep.

I read about these dashboards have 93C86 and this is the only eprom on this panel no other.
I tryed 2 programmer with same resoult!

There are 2 types of dashes in these. 93c86 or NEC MCU. I can see from your photo the square MCU says NEC on it.

Yes this has NEC!

Milage is inside of the NEC?

Do you have a good file for the NEC?

Yes mileage in NEC, sorry I dont have file. Start new thread and ask for Alfa NEC file and maybe you get help. Or search forum and maybe you will be lucky.

Take a 2002 year dashboard the are eeprom inside.

Adapt mileage and solved!!!
