How to rekey VAG Gen3 door lock?

Hi there I'm after rekeying a vag gen 3 door lock but can't get the 2 locking pins out the side of the lock (I'm assuming this needs to be done to remove the inner barrel holding wafers)
could someone point me in the right direction on how to remove the barrel it would be much appreciated

With these type, you have to knock /push both pins (sometimes half moon weges) out with a thin punch, then very very gently remove the small washer/cup thingy at the end of the lock with small screw driver, then the lock core should come out, have a 2 in 1 handy if the core wouldnt withraw.
