HI all,

I got in the shop 2008 BMW X5, 4.8 l engine with air suspension codes. Initial scan showed the following codes:
5F9A - Control Time Fault Lifting
5F8E - Rear Left Ride Level Sensor
5F98 - Control Time Fault Rear Left Lfting

After clearing the codes, only the 5F98 stays. No warning lights on the dash, except dynamic drive warning fault after stat up, and then disappears.
Vehicle was at the Stealership many times and they replaced left rear air bag suspension, left and right rear level sensors, and also did numerous level calibrations.
The only thing left was to replace the compressor and the valve block beside it, which I did and still same thing.

Any advise and input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanx

can you see values of ride height control in parameters are changing when you 'shake 'the car?

Yes, they change. Also, forgot to mention that after sitting for a few days without driving, the car would tilt to left or sometimes to right.
ANd, as I said before, the Stealership replaced both ride height sensors.

THINK if you crawl underneath the wiring fir the suspension at the rear chaffs on the aluminium muffler heat shield,

that AMAZING bloke that's still dead he said it can take between 24 hrs and one day before computer notices its fixed.

So you say it should reset itself then when the "ride height" computer notices the good block?

With Audi, 99% of the time it is front left. I use a spray with washing liquid you see bubbles, if in jacking mode.

Just an update: Calibrated level sensors and the suspension code went away.
