It should work with no problems, I know theres one chinese NEC programmer that can already check the radio bytes. You should download the manual to see if thats the one or if its the white box one.

Yes buy that one without problems, it's only 35 usd so it paid after first service.

I can just write file.
You can't read a file with it.

I used a second hand key.
Automatically renew it before write.
But 1 time have problem of remote (don't work). Some dk user says it's the problem of chines nec programer.

Chinese Nec programmer sometime do not program very well remote , in that some MB programmer like mercedesinstruments allow you to fix this problem.

Hmm, I resoldered very carefully and still the same. Tried with second adapter and also on different COM port settings and still the same :/. Maybe device is faulty?

Replace nec with other

It's taking a lot of time because it is "erasing" the mcu first, and since it is a random procdeure it might take a few seconds or minutes. Better clean the mcu pins and start again.

I have same exactly problem .
I try 3 different NEC chips and it is doing same thing. I left it for 30 min and still was programing.
I am 100% sure all legs are solder and not joined , also I have ZF socket and it is doing same thing.I spend all day to figure out this and no luck.

One thing is I am able to run it on XP SP3 direct , do not need VM . I see most of the people runs it in XP Sp2 in VM.

Maybe this is a problem?

Anyone know what could be a problem?

I'm running it also on XP SP3 directly. I installed on XP SP2 Virtual Machine but got API Hook error. I also tried 2 NEC chips and still the same, soldering 100% OK.

So we have identical problem and we use XP SP3. Don't know why I have API Hook error on Virtual Machine, while it works for others here.

TTZAG did you run SP2 in VM or it was SP3?

I think this is a problem, it has to be SP2 or SP2 in VM.
P1et, I do not know why you has problem on SP2 VM. Everyone seams to fix it this way.

I am trying to get SP2 ISO file and try this way, I think this will be way to go.

Had a same problem with 061 NEC.
But it programmed 081 in 20 seconds or less.

I will try 081 then. I already tried tried 061 and 071 and cannot program. Tried already on WIN XP SP3, WIN XP SP2, WIN XP Home SP2 and all the same on all of them. Will try on VM once again.

I tried and it is same thing.
in few days I will install XP SP 2 in one of my old laptop and will report .
In CD that cam out with programer , there is 2 folders with two .exe files.
One of them will work on XP Sp3 , but other one gives me API Hook error. So I hope if that other software works in Sp2 it will work OK with programer.

Once I find out I will let you know guys.

I install XP2 and still have problem . It writes for ever.I am really tied of this programer.

I do not mind pay more money , I just need something what will work 100%.

i have ak500 and it uses the same sw as this nec prog that makes trouble.. it seems that there is no cheap solution for writing nec key

for 1 year im using without any problem.only first time i have a file problem about device software and i solved it.
for long time all we are buying clone tools.
i only saw 2 tools is really working so good.

You mean software from autodiag or china? Autodiag is protected by password and on every other computer, you need separate activation code from supplier.
