How do you need help? How far have you got? What have you tested?

I,m learning, edc16 sorted out how to remove egr but no edc17. I,m just started with this. Previosly did just dashboards.

On edc17 is similar way to remove egr like edc16 maybe that can help you.

Cleared 6 hysterisis maps to 00000, EGR off and problem solved. Thanks for tips.

Hi...i have a problem with six Hysteresis maps...because after the egr off,car (golf 6 2.0tdi 143hp edc17c46) do continuous regeneration..and i hear same problem for another users....very strange

man you shouldn't set to 0 all 6 maps

and how i must do? hysteresis (theorically) shut-off with this way,but is not...i try to write obd ori file and regeneration stops

Yes,but i must close egr because find error P046C: implausible signal egr....all ori,car not regenerate..with egr off try always to regenerate,write smoke and rest at 1.100 rpm (regeneration mode)

Never had this problem, you could try to remove that dtc from ori file of it's working ok
