Got a Subaru Forester 1998 with lost keys,

Tried to program new Subaru 4E ID64 (Tango produced) but no joy,

Opened Denso immobiliser and read Eeprom S220 (93C56), dump not recognised by Tango, EFfi, Zed Full, Zed Bull, Tag Key Tool etc.

I have seen several locksmith posts but no solutions for this car yet,

Can anyone help or point me in the right direction please?

I read ad forum , and lots of posts about this car, as you might have gathered, dealer tool only, ad100 does 50% of these cars, eeprom problems with tango, if you have time, how about this idea, since a virgin/new immo dont need sync. with the ecu, Take a note of a new key logic , fil the immo with FF, then cycle 2 keys, and read the eeprom again to see where it is written?

Cheers Nazz,

I also trawled the AD forum as well as Scorpio etc, they do seem to be a bit of pain.

Thanks for the advice.

Thanks,

So far tried: MVP Pro, CK100, SBB, G-Scan, Launch X431, Maxidas, T300, Zed Full etc.

Only tool that appears to get comms is the MVP Pro under the Subaru 5 Volt system but it doesn't seem to actually be doing anything.

Also read and saved the Denso immobiliser S220 (93C56) eeprom before doing anything just in case.

Cheers Gwee,

Had enough of this one now, way too busy to waste any more time on a 16 year old wreck.

If you want to take a look at the dump, I have attached it and the chip I was using was a 4E ID64 made for a 1998 Subaru with Tango.

If you have any bright ideas, I can get the car back from the car sales, hate being beaten but still won't do "Immobiliser off" on principle.

Alan
