Hi , ewerbody know what exit from boot mode on Dashboard on Citroen C5 2008 . I try with fvdi instrument cluster recalibration and now timeout and dshboard stay in boot mode . Thaks for tips

Connect battery charger and redo km correcting with FVDI.

I tried everything , i need a flash dump 4MB was read to the programmer .

Wait 15 minutes, remove the battery for about 2 hours and connect again, see if it helps

In flash chip all data is FF FF FF ...... , need good dump .

"User" is your current user name,

you will find it there,your backup file

YES , this fvdi backup is 5MB , i need 4MB for labtool . This flash is 4MB , not 5MB

FLY FVDI can not restore backup in mcu 1MB and flash 4MB . Original abritus avdi ???

Change file size to 5mb and try it, or get dash out of donar car and read flash

I have the same problem now. Did correction on car, all went ok BSI got the new value but dash shows ------. Before procedure I saved IC eprom so I tried to write back ori eprom to IC and program asks for device update. Click ok and while updating, got TIMEOUT error. Now dashboard is "dead" but not totally I can connect it with diag and make ID. Any chance to repair? I have 1MB backup for dash in PSA folder. But how write it back?

Dumb question can't you LEECH a manual EEPROM dump if here, invirrect and upload to it

Problem is not in eeprom dump. IC in boot mode because of flash memory and not working only diag ID

I had the same problem and the only solution was to go home and updated the official dash and had life again.
and remove end dash and make km per pinout :)

Hi , i think on C5 dashboard system change km same as BSI. Before writing new km tool make backup whit coding setting and odometer value. But AVDI Smok etc.change in this data only km value. write flash old or new with update from files in program. This Is backdoor to change milage OBD in BSI and Dashboard in C5 .On C5 cant read dashboard eeprom.FVDI havent all flash files for C5 dont know who is. After stey in bootmode. Abrites make suport all dashbord on version PSA 6.7

You can try whit diagbox or lexia flashing your dashboard in bootmode whether exist update new software solved your problem whether ist same only AVDI is solution or programmer for procesor.

Thanks! Yesterday I went to the dealer to try update IC with diagbox. They can't update the IC with diagbox. Mechanic said they can update only BSI, ECU and ESP. No any "update" option for instruments... :(

No No on 100% is option to reprogram C5 in lexia or diagbox . I try but for my dash havent official update. Show someone with clone wath yers is your car?

flash is inclusive in software but cant extract wail is crypted you can instal UHDS and in files folder is flash files . software repair dashboard automatic. after you can read flash in bin folder and can ulploud on dk ..procesing read 30 min write 30min. need akkuchanger

no need eeprom EEP is ok but need flash files today i do one C5 with smok without problem ( need akkuchanger) .but not make backup. try support smok he have all dump for dashboard

Done a lot of the c5 x7 with SMOK, it works really good on this model.
For monochrome (amber) you need 15-20 minutes, for color up to 35min.
In one case the dash went black and the tool says "need reprogramming" - it took about 45-50min to fix (just need to redo the procedure).

I'm trying to mod dashboard on c5 x7 and found this thread. Is it possible for someone to upload flash download from dashboard mcu + flash color (5mb). I have 4mb from flash and see that it contains all graphics and fonts. I was curious to see first 1mb od mcu code. dash I use for testing is 9665369180 sw1.12 but anything with color lcd will do. thanks
