View Full Version : BMW 320 m sport no start after new plugs Please help

Hope someone can help BMW 320 msport misfire
BMW 320i m sport 2008 1995 cc petrol
Car car has come in for routine service
We have changed oil and air and plugs
After changing plugs the car had a really bad misfire
So we have now put original BMW plugs back in and car wont start
But I have spark
Anybody come across this before please need advise on this one urgent please

Suppose there might be check engine on. Do a scan.
Probably one coil or one lead broke while removing or inserting.
Scan and report.

Did you crank engine without plugs?
These coils will break if you crank engine while there plugged in and not on the spark plugs.

Or the chain happened to slip..

I have seen many time people changing S/Plugs on BMW and either having misfiring faults or starting problems due coil pack multi plug not been fully pushed in to coil which causes poor connection to coil or sometimes also be faulty coil packs................Have a look at this to attached you tube links might help you.........
