VW key cut code

I'm writing to ask for a help with VW vin to key code 2003 in Canada.

vag dont generally give out key codes , but a lishi 2in1 or lishi direct reader will make short work of decoding this

i'll order it. Any tips on using it as a decoder on Golf 03? Like unlock first then decode, etc?

depends what tool you use , the direct decoder will decode the lock without picking in under a minute , just put it in then read the 4 positions , turn it over and read the other 4 positions , one side will read positions 1256 the other side will read positions 3478 .

if buying the 2in1 , pick positions 1584 first , once set pick positions 2367 in their binding order then decode once picked , if single lifter tool decode opposite way to picked , if twin lifter read same way as picked .

Just put in the lock and feel what wafers are moving. It can be on one site 1,3,4,7 and opposite 2,4,6,8 or 1,2,5,6 and opposite 3,4,7,8. When all wafers except first will be 3 and 4 then is probably newer type of lock not supported by direct reader. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W7nWnwvgpmA

Try buy Turbo decoder .. Fast and easy ... About 1500 dollar .. In Brazil like 2800,00 Reais... Work well but a little expensive
