Never rocon'd much on those SBB. Any company letting there machine be cloned so such an extent. Saying that, yeah T300 :)

The Car has no keys, picked the lock, put the key in the ignition, the column moves etc, then the alarm starts going off, can't get in the boot, it's jammed, but have managed to put a jump pack on the alternator. Gwee can i add the keys manually then once i read the dump?

avdi , AD100 pro , mvp pro , even clone T300 and keyprom8 should cope with this job , skp900 should do this too .

where 1 kit fails another succeeds

Try under ford f-150 or "HEC " protcal use a ford focus chip 4D64.

Right so a couple of things with this car...... Jaguar tibbe.... Different to ford tibbe? It has 6 cuts but I can't open the boot? Door and ignition works fine? Programming the immo... F150 HEC with 2 keys is the same immo system? And what transponder chip? I thought it was 4d60 but someone has suggested 4d64? Not straight forward this bloody car.....

my guess is that you have used standard tibbe keys , these will not work on boot , try cutting same key on a dedicated jaguar blank or you could try the 3d key for both with the adapted tip , jag has a thinner tip end , a standard tibbe will do door and ignition but not boot , even the picks struggle on boot , all bar the trusty old souber one .

have a look at a dedicated jag blank paying attentionto tip and blade , compare this to a standard tibbe blade and all will become clear , ive had a few of the 3d dual keys wont fit boot either and ive had some that do too

life would be boring without the odd curve ball to get the grey matter working

Not straight forward this bloody car.....

best jobs are never straight forward - expect to spend alot more on kit and advice from martin helps

I have minimum price now or bugger it do something else. Take Nissan tonight - pick'ed but will the *** lock work. nop. Guys who quote cheap give up on job

never rule out the old fashioned airbag steve and rod , great for internal handles and even unwinding manual windows , power probing is also useful in such a case .

jag boots can give you alot of head scratching especially keys locked in boot , you can spend ages picking and getting nowhere on these , use correct blank with correct tip shape and its an instant fix normally unless something else wrong

I've got an s type genuine key here and can see my issue.... The tip is stepped, so that will be sorted tomorrow ( using my new Silca Delta FO ), next on to the transponder and programming.... Totally forgot I've got an identical Car in the unit ( got over 120 cars so easy to forget sometimes :D ) so will read the chip type tomorrow and then get the SBB on the other one and see if I can get it to talk using F150 HEC.

ive never had a problem with T7 id60 glass chips on these .

your issue was that you couldnt communicate with it , ie immo not found , so this wont be down to chip , first thing id check is obd port using a port tester sold by AD or lockdecoders to confirm no issues at obd port , also you are using a clone sbb , all clones have odd issues with certain cars and systems , could be an issue with the clone sbb , check sbb on the one in your unit to see if you get comms as will at least confirm sbb is working on these , but dont rule out a plug or wiring issue as these too happen .

i find some genuine kit doesnt like certain old cars , Audi A3 98 year springs to mind , ad100 pro , avdi , zedbull all failed to pull loads of these pins and often failed to get comms , yet a cheap chinese bit of kit read pin and coded key as less sensitive , all machines have the dislikes on certain issues.

ive had a few KA where i couldnt get comms , the last one was down to a broken wire at obd plug in passenger footwell , aftermarket radios can also be a bug bear if badly wired on many cars when comms fails .

failing that as gwee has suggested result to eeprom and take up his kind offer of help if you post the dump up for him.

4d60 is correct with hec. Tip with step is master the valet has more material on the tip.
