I need some help in identifying Scart pin numbers on dreambox 500 for component video signal (YUV / YPbPr) as i plan to make my own Dreambox scart to component out phono lead to connect my dreambox to TV. Currently i use scart RGB signal from dreambox to TV and fibre Toshlink for audio from Dreambox to TV.
Thanks in advance.

AFAIK they use the semi-standard pinout for Component over SCART.

You can buy ready made cables and adapters for peanuts and so making your own is probably not necessary.

Pin 11 = Y
Pin 7 = Pb
Pin 15 = Pr

Corresponding Grounds

Pin 9 = Y gnd
Pin 5 = Pb gnd
Pin 13 = Pr gnd

Some moderator should move this to a separate thread.

When you say cross over cable you mean Ethernet?

If so you just plug it into the ethernet port on the back of the PC! Your PC will then allocate your dreambox an IP address. You can use this address in a web-browser to access the dreambox's built in webpages (username root, password dreambox). If you then share a PC's drive or folder your dreambox will be able to see it and if you like record into it or playback from it.

There are countless guides on the subject, just use google to find one.
