been looking to upgrade from 500c to 600c

as title and ive found a place that will send me one for 130 to my door, now the catch its from asia, could it be the 600 fakes are out already?


now im not bothered about buying clones as ive got a clone 500c aswell as an original and they work as well as each other.

no hdd in the price but even so 130 to the door is cheaper by a margin than other places.


shall i take the risk, i like the idea of being able to swap the tuners (correct with these boxes i presume) as i have cable and i have a sat setup.

thing is i found another site that says its got WAIT FOR IT..............dm8000 yes 3 zeros not 2, now im sure i read somewhere thats been scrapped by dm but its for sale with hdmi output and not dvi like whats been put on the 800, now 2 things....images? will images work on these as if there not being made by dm then theres not going to be loads if anyone with them, and 2 price they,ve not got back to me yet.

there was 3 places i enquired last night and ones already replied hence the 130 price for the dm600.

i will share the place once ive done some research first,thats if people want it, but research or test buy by me first as i wouldnt want to be the cause of anyone getting stung.

when l get in m8 i will check my box to see if theres a hologram on it . paid 200 for mine from satstores , l've got a hard drive in now but always record to the mount . not sure if 500's did this ? but if they do l might get on of them aswell

If it doesn't come from a Dream approved seller (links on their website) then it's always a clone!

Are this mod giving you a years warranty?

You know yourself that some clones can be dodgy and some can be spot on. It all comes down to...are you willing to take the risk.

It's no surprise that these places are bringing them out before the main dealer. It's the same with football shirts, Thailand has the new Peremiership strips before they're even out in the UK.

I've heard you can get them for ?175 with hdd but not that cheap.

The DM8000 would be useless because there's no image for it yet.

well i 100% believe theres clones as nearly all are from over there, im not too bothered about that though, some maybe but not an issue for me.

not even decided to buy one yet i was just browsing away last night and came across them,


tbh im more into my sat set up than cable at the min but might buy one just for the hell of it, then again i might just wit for the new hd box to show its face.


anyway i'll see what the others say when and if they get in touch.


im not in need of one but i do like to buy and play with my toys lol.


just a point though, has dm scrapped the 8000? im sure i read they had scrapped it in favour for the 800, is that right?

I'm led to believe the DM800 will be out in a few weeks but will be expensive. No release date on the DM8000 though.
