Hello everyone. I have SBB v33 Chinesse Clone. I need to program a second key in a SEAT CORDOBA 2008. This SEAT uses an ID48. The first question is
IN SBB appears SEAT CORDOBA 2002- And I need to be sure for this 2008
Can i to erase the fault codes whit other tool, for instance VAG COM.
Is it safe to read the pin whit the SBB?
If anyone has worked with this car or other CORDOBA between 2002 - 2008 I will appreciate to hear you say.
Thanks in advanced.

NOTE: I have VAG COM v12.12. Can I program the key with this tool? Thanks.

Why SBB not good for this car? This is just normal ID48, if he got PIN then he can do it. Not sure if your SBB can read pin though. It's diesel or petrol? If diesel it should be 2min job with pin reading and programming.

SBB will pull the pin on 2008 Cordoba 6L chassis with id48 in 10 seconds, and will also programme instantly.......... will all the SBB haters not bother commenting unless they have used this tool and failed ;) I have pulled the pin on quite a few and coded many with it inc PD diesel motors ;)

SBB is really good tool. The fact it's cheap doesn't mean it's not good because for some things it's brilliant and it should work like a treat with this car. Cordoba and 'new generation keys' - pleasee...

I think they (like me) assumed key required CS. But quite a few VAG don't upto that year. 2009/2010 would
No danger with those tools cos not re-flashing etc. Just reading memory for the pin. safe! :D

Yes. In fact, SBB can program keys to most Seat cars till 2009 because most of them are not precoded by VIN. Especially Cordoba because 2008 is the same like 2002.
@davidobd2 take your SBB in hands and go to car. This car is not worth all the time you waited for someone to ensure you to try. I see you posted on SBB thread.

Cordoba 6L is Immo 3.
1.4 16V Petrol with Magneti Marelli ECU,if it also has Magneti Marelli dash, nothing will pull pincode via OBD.

On my SBB Seat Cordoba Pins are pulled via Immo 2. To date i have done probably 18-20 to ibiza/cordoba and SBB has never failed.

Immo 2 = Pin only in dashboard.
Immo 3 = Pin in dashboard and ECU.
I know this car,because I drive it :D

I'll try to program the key. Then I will comment.
I just hope not to damage the ECU reading the pin or programming key.
How to know if this car is immo 2 or 3?
Thanks everyone.

You won't damage anything, if it doesn't connect, no harm done.

That would better be answered by someone in your region. Here's a wealth of information for VAG.

Easiest way to check is if you have a key of the vehicle.
Immo 2 don't lock transponder on programming.
Immo 3 locks transponder on programming.
Also Immo 2 will most likely be Magic 1 ID48.
All Immo 3's are Magic 2 ID48.

had car with no keys, or immo light won't stop blinking,
or no start after programming VAG
but if u have internet connection and link to rosstech website then do adaption manually. check right chip. all is ok as said.
just don't walk away - and it'll be ok. just stay calm and think, read avdi manual.
always works out ok. have to take a risk...

Immo 2 = Pin only in dashboard.
Immo 3 = Pin in dashboard and ECU.
I know this car,because I drive it :D
so do I ;) a 2006 Pd100 and it pulls the pin in seconds on mine too.

Because it is a diesel.
On a 1.4 16v petrol forget OBD.
If it is a Magneti Marelli 9S12 dash, forget OBD completely with even more expensive tools.
AVDI won't touch it,as ninja123 knows.

Hi friends the key program to SEAT CORDOBA 2008 was succesful with my SBB. To read the PIN was not a problem, and to program the 2 keys neither. Although something interesting happened.
I had a key to another SEAT CAN BUS, precoded to vin. This key is adapted for use in CORDOBA. I tried to start the car with the key and this started the vehicle even without programming. Of course, immobilizer lamp kept flashing. When I pulled the chip, I tried to start the car with the key without chip and the vehicle is turned off in less than two seconds. This seemed very strange.

You can start this car up to 5 times, and under 2 minutes.
After fifth time, immo locks and no start unless good key.
