Friend I had to swap Infineon last time I did one, couldn't bdm the opt part as when I installed in vehicle it kept saying manipulization problem even after resync and also after full car download, so I swapped Infineon and it started start away
I know its not exactly cloning but this was my way forward

TC1766? thought it has legs to board so no reballing!! Your thinking of TC1796?
just aslong as your new ecu got same hardware inside etc.. you should be ok
P.S. will send you photos of infineon and NO manipulation error when done as all relevant info in processor TC1766
just swap Infineon tc1766 if you don't have any equipment to clone it with, don't bother trying FG tech, it don't work, nor does kess
