On another thought he would be handy driving on Indian roads; you will find the lot, cows on motorway, monkeys in urban roads and lots of rickshaws to avoid, going to be fun in India…

Apparently, you can't import money so you will have to buy your rupees there, but that doesn't suggest anything about how much of your own currency you can bring.

I have family in India at the moment, they're there for 6 month. I'm pretty sure the cost of the car far outweighs the cost of public transport., they're travelling about by any means posible . you can do 500 miles in india on a train for around ?3, india is a dangerous place to drive and I'd rather not take the risk!!
