06 Mazda Diesel timing

Hi all, got a 2006 mazda 6 turbo diesel to put a new head on, problem is I didnt take it apart! Can anyone help with timing marks please, there are nice obvious marks on the crank and pump, however the cam is not so obvious.
It has a v shaped notch but I cant see anything obvious, it also has four lock bolt holes so no help there.

would have been a bit more specific if you had posted engine size and type
