Anyone know what can read this or which chip the map is stored on

Yes it is 29f400bt but was looking for other option boot mode etc to save me removing it if possible

boot mode like all bosch 29fxxx
no power, pin 24 of flash to ground, apply power, wait 2-3secs. remove ground. and read write as normal

that pin is same as 24 from falsh so its good . great news!

It does have tachograph on it if that makes a difference

post the file , let s see if limiter is in file or in tacho. it may be in tacho!

Which file 29f400bt or eeprom as ecu connections forum someone mentions on a similar ecu edc15vm+ it's in eeprom

yeah that s the one. llimiter is not in flash. and in eeprom i dunno how to find it. maybe someone else can give a hand!

Make a diagnostic on car using VCDS.
Login with 12233, then go to adaptation Channel 07 or 18
See if you have speed limit there.

Thanks Lupu will try again in the morning when im back with the vehicle as i currently only have ecu with me

Login with 12233, then go to adaptation Channel 07 or 18
See if you have speed limit there.
Map has been altered for me and in channel 18 now shows 150kmh [emoji6]

You can make this via diagnostic plug with VCDS in 30 seconds ;)

Lol not so lucky on the other one ecu has got to come out as says 190kmh but won't go past 100kmh so win some lose some lol

After checking maps and no sign of limiter located found one of these in it but not mounted where the manual said it would be
