virgin file must program key with special method, not your common lexus or toyota.
Does anyone know if immo must be married to the ECU after the flash? Reason why there is
no 4 and 14 pins on the data port (obd2).the dump was read wrong and corrupted the file. The chip inside was a 93lc66a correct read as a 8bit mode and takes a 4C chip.

Thank you very much guys. I'm going to get these car done and share everything with fourm. Immo needs to be sync. to the ECU so far there has been 2 ways of done it.

1. Reflash immo. With virgin dump 50020.bin
2. Program keys to the immo.
3. Sit in car and shut the door do not LOCK!
4. First 4C goes into the ignition follow by the rest.
5. When you open the driver door that will close programming mode.
6. Sync. Immo to ECU will take 45min.
(There is no pin 4 and 14 on the data port Obd2)
A. Leave the key in the ON position for 45min.
OR B. Open engine compartment and look for black fuse box.
i will take picture once I get it going.

Got it done !!!
1.flash immo with virgin dump file size 512
2.register the key as the book shows.
3.MOST IMPORTANT SYNC IMMO TO ECU.
(sit in car with 1 register key in hand, close door but don't lock.
Put key in the ignition and turn to "ON" position then OFF (NOT TO THE RUN)
pull out the key and quickly open and close the door.
PUT THE KEY IN & START THE CAR.

thanks again guys
i will have the car for a few more days so I'm going read the dumps with all keys in it.
also will try that short virgin posted above and the one below with keys in dump. May we
can find the sync in dump area.
Meathead good info. To save

Hello Greetings, I have a 1997 LS400, the current ECU is bad since the engine cuts out in the middle of the road and the EUC resets/erases the OBC II info. The current ECU is 89661-50340. I have spare ECU 89661-50341. Is there a way to reflash the immobilizer myself? Thanks in advance.

Trying to do the same with my LS400. Go a virgin dump I found online into the immobilizer, but the car starts and dies, maybe it needs to sync. I tried the second sync procedure that ray-ray posted but that didn't work. I will now try the first one (the one that takes 45 minutes).
