hi all, can I install any speed cameras or does it have to be particular to certain TomTom software?

The files need to be 'ov2' for the database and 'bitmap' for any icons.
If you have files of a different type they will have to be converted using a file converter.

There are some very good Tomtom speed camera files on here, so I really don't think it's worth the hassle.
'Jasmeet_87' has good, up to date files, but download the extra bmp files he is offering too and use them instead of the other icons,(they'll work better). I have installed these on my TT1 and they work a treat.- and don't forget to thank him for his files.

I've done regular update on my TT speed cams and I just move/delete the old files and replace them with the updated one and it always works for me. just make sure you put the updates onto the same folder as the old files were. you should be fine.
